There’s no doubt that the majority of web series on OTT platforms have outstanding narrative, casts, and cinematography. We’ve witnessed a huge change away from cinema towards web series, which is still exploding. With great web series comes some incredible music that quickly elevates the viewer’s experience. We can now proudly add amazing music to the list as well. We’ve included them here so you can add them to your playlist fast, because we’re sure you were looking for them as well!

Scam 1992 (Sony Liv – 2020)


If this iconic track isn’t included in the list, especially in the very beginning, it will be incomplete! This track, composed by Achint, gave us an adrenaline surge every time we listened to it. With its pop mood and rap music, Scam 1992’s theme is a game changer. We’re not shocked that the series’ material, as well as the theme song, has gone viral and received record views on YouTube.

Bandish Bandits (Amazon Prime – 2020)


A musical drama set in Rajasthan has an incredible background track that is a lovely blend of Indian classical and Pop Jazz. The majority of theme tunes are either quirky or have a thrilling air to them composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy. Bandish Bandits stands out in this way. The theme tune captures Rajasthani culture and traditional folk music very well. The view also adds to the appeal. Gullak (Sony Liv – 2019)


With a touch of humor, wit, and overflowing affection, it has various flavors of small-town life. All in all, ‘Gullak’ is a light watch that you would love to watch and the music by Simran Hora sang by Jazim Sharma will give you a nostalgia of growing up in the 90’s, a tiny middle-class family’s daily struggles and how they hope to overcome them. The title track is quite relatable, lyrics are so fine and relaxing to listen to.

Mirzapur (Amazon Prime – 2018)


Mirzapur’s theme tune is so fitting and serious that one can actually feel the show’s energy and force. For many people, the foot-tapping motif has its own fan base. Music by Anand Bhaskar and John Stewart Eduri. The mix of Brazilian and Afro themes presented in a totally UP atmosphere is a wonderful idea that has paid off for the producers and composer.

Broken but Beautiful (ALTBalaji – 2018)


Broken but Beautiful, was praised not only for its tale but also for its music. Season 2 stars Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi. It features very catchy songs.
Teri Hogaiyaan is a wonderful love song that will tug at your emotions, whereas O Saajna is a soulful contemporary pop piece written, performed, and composed by Akhil Sachdeva. Amaal and Armaan Malik’s Shaaemein and Anusha Mani’s Boureya are two more lovely tracks that you can’t stop playing!

Fittrat (ALTBalaji and ZEE5 – 2019)


Fittrat, a famous web series produced by ALTBalaji and ZEE5 has incredible music. It features soul-stirring songs sung and composed by some of the industry’s most well-known performers. O Panchi Re, composed by Sandman, sung by Vivek Hariharan and penned by Akshay Shinde, was one among them. The song, which was inspired by a car ride between a father and his daughter, is the ideal road-trip tune for you and your loved ones to listen to.

Four More Shots Please! (Amazon Prime 2019)


Yaara Teri Yaari is a really beautiful song from this Amazon Prime Original series. It’s sung by none other than Darshan Rawal, who is a gifted young singer. The song will compel you to re-establish old friendships and patch things up with your pals. This song is about the kind of friendship where you and your best friends are always there for each other, no matter what.

Little Things (Netflix – 2016)


Little Things is a Netflix original series. Prateek Kuhad wrote and sang the theme song, Pause. The song is a lyrically nostalgic portrayal of modern-day relationships that wonderfully captures Dhruv and Kavya’s on-screen bond. The soulful music and lyrics emphasize the characters shifting viewpoints throughout the series.

Panchayat (Amazon Prime – 2020)



Jitendra Kumar plays Panchayat Secretary, a city kid trapped in a rural area. Its intro music has a pleasant holiday feel to it, with village scenes playing in the background. The opening credits music, produced by Anurag Saikia, is a beautiful and lilting tune that had us smiling even before the episode began.
